Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Rashford insiders' PSG view, Osimhen bid eyed, Dumfries boost

Marcus Thuram is set to snub interest from Manchester United and Juventus in order to secure a cut-price move to Chelsea in January, according to reports in Italy.

United had been one of the clubs keeping tabs on the France international after some decent cameos at the World Cup, including in their final defeat to Argentina on penalties.

The Borussia Monchengladbach star has scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga this season and is out of contract, with the German club desperate to renew his deal.

But Tuttomercatoweb, via Juvefc.com, reveal that Chelsea are keen to add him to their squad and the Blues are making progress in talks with the striker, with the 25-year-old set to decide his future by moving to Stamford Bridge.

Ten Hag may not be too disappointed for now as he has Weghorst to last him until the end of the season, but the prospect of signing Thuram on a free transfer in the summer would have been surely welcome when the Dutchman returns to his parent club.
