We’ll discuss common problems, the failure of traditional mentoring programs to meet the needs of underrepresented faculty, and a new vision of mentoring as a broad network of support, community, and accountability. This event is offered by the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity and is co-sponsored by Faculty Affairs and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity at Virginia Tech. Lunch is included. Register here by March 17.
