Plug and Play will bring together startups, thought leaders, and industry pioneers to dive deep into the future of open innovation at the upcoming EXPLORE 2024 on October 5, 2023 in Hamburg. With an emphasis on Corporate Venture Capital, Open Innovation Culture, and Startup-Corporate collaboration, the event promises insightful discussions, engaging presentations, and transformative ideas for organizations seeking to thrive in the ever-evolving business landscape. At EXPLORE 2024, three startups will be honored with the Future Hamburg Award.
Located in Hamburg, Europe’s third-largest seaport and one of the most important global trading hubs, Plug and Play has been partnering with DSV, EWE, Hamburg Invest, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, COWI, and Volvo Cars to boost the corporate-startup collaboration in Germany and the Nordic region, driving innovation in Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail, Sustainability, Smart Cities, and beyond.
On October 5th, 2023 Plug and Play will hold their flagship event — EXPLORE 2024, inspired by the motto “Deep Dive into the Future”, which will gather over 200 guests at The Factory Hammerbrooklyn in Hamburg. The event’s agenda, focused on leveraging Open Innovation, Corporate-Startup Collaboration, and Corporate Venture Capital, has been carefully curated to address the most pressing challenges of the industry.
At EXPLORE 2024, the winners of the Future Hamburg Award will be announced. The competition initiated by the City of Hamburg and launched jointly by Hamburg Marketing GmbH and Plug and Play Tech Center honors startups with a sustainable business model in logistics, greentech and mobility that have a positive impact on the future city. The first-place winner will be invited to a one-month international accelerator program at the headquarters of Plug and Play in Silicon Valley.

The selected startups, such as iGenius, Paretos,CargoKite, Filics, Neology, Hylane, and many more will pitch their ideas and showcase their projects at the Startup Tech Fair.
