Dyson is back with a very clever new vacuum but you'll need £1,400 to own it

If you loathe doing the daily chores then the all-new 360 Vis Nav from Dyson could be just what you are looking for. This clever new cleaner roams around your home sucking up muck with it making sure the floors stay spotless without you lifting a finger. Of course, robot vacuums aren’t anything new but the famous UK firm reckons this device is their best yet when it comes to sheer grunt.

To help make sure every crumb and speck if dirt is removed, Dyson has developed a new Hyperdymium motor which spins at up to 110,000rpm. This makes this robot vacuum its most powerful ever plus it features the firm’s clever Piezo sensor which detects when there’s more dust on the floors and then boosts the suction accordingly. This not only helps remove more grime but also makes things more efficient with Dyson promising around 50 minutes of cleaning time between charges.

To make sure it doesn’t keep cleaning the same spot over and over again, there’s a 360-degree vision system which tracks movement and maps where it’s been. Dyson says that it’s even intelligent enough to respond to dust sensed in the home and create dust maps of your home.

Other bonus features include full edge cleaning so it gets right up to the walls, there’s a one-touch way to empty the dust bin and there’s a fully-sealed HEPA filtration system which traps dust and seals in 99.99% of particles as microscopically small as 0.1 micronsvii – the size of pet dander and diesel soot.

There are also four cleaning modes including Quick and Quite options plus it fully smart home ready and connects to the MyDyson app which offers easy ways to customise zones; schedule cleans; set rules and routines; and adjust via voice controls from a smart phone.

It all sounds pretty impressive but so does the price.

Dyson is asking customers to part with £1399.99 to own the 360 Vis Nav – that’s more than three times the price of the currently discounted Dyson V11 Total Clean.

If that hasn’t put you off it’s available in the UK from today.

“Robotic vacuum cleaners should be highly effective machines that intelligently clean your home, so you don’t have to. Enabling these autonomous cleaners relies on highly complex algorithms, visual interpretation, dust sensing capabilities and powerful motor technology,” said Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer.

“Dyson engineers have taken everything we’ve learnt from developing our vacuum cleaners, combined it with intelligent software, to develop the Dyson 360 Vis Nav™ – the most powerful intelligent robot vacuum cleaner.”
