A STUNNING supercar owned by music legend Rod Stewart is up for sale.
An ultra-rare Ferrari F50 that the Maggie May singer, 78, bought in 1997 could sell for up to £3m at a car collectors auction.

The car-mad Scot would’ve shelled out around £390k at the time for the sports car, which is one of only 349 created by the Italian manufacturer.
Other famous F50 owners include boxing legend Mike Tyson and Clint Eastwood.
The F50 is one of Ferrari’s most iconic models, featuring a 4.7-litre V12 engine, producing 513bhp and 347lb-ft of torque with an eye-watering top speed of 202mph.
According to Collecting Cars auction house, the odometer shows just 10,998 miles on the clock, and the car is fresh from an annual service and clutch replacement carried out in August 2023.
Accompanying the sale is the Ferrari Classiche ‘red folder’, plus an impressive history file that includes an original document showing the car registered to Stewart at the well-known Wood House estate in Epping.
A copy of the warranty book page shows it assigned to Sir Rod in June 1997.
Records show that the car was shipped from London to Dubai by air in 2002, but the car was back in the UK by 2007.
Ed Callow of Collecting Cars says: “F50s have rocketed in value since Sir Rod Stewart owned this one, and I would not be surprised if it makes north of £3 million.”
Collecting Cars added: “This Ferrari F50 represents a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of Maranello’s greatest ever driver’s cars.”
Sir Rod recently declared to fans that he will “never retire”.
Taking to social media, he wrote: “I shall never retire! I was put on this earth to be a singer and will keep doing so for as long as the good lord lets me.”
In other Ferrari news, fans of the car maker will be horrified to learn that a 1960s 275 GTB worth £2.5m was written off after a devastating crash.
A 60-year-old driver of the vintage motor was lucky to survive after it veered off the road and smashed into a wooden barrier alongside the Po River between Piacenza and San Rocco al Porto, Italy.
Meanwhile, an incredibly rare Subaru Impreza that once belonged to beloved rally star Colin McRae went under the hammer for a whopping £480,500.
The iconic Japanese motor was only one of three prototype Subaru Impreza STi 22Bs ever built, with Prodrive’s David Lapworth and McRae’s co-driver Nicky Grist owning the other two.
