A LUXURY hotel company is launching a brand-new cruise ship in 2025 – and passengers will be invite-only.
Four Seasons Yachts is the first cruise ship from the Four Seasons.

The company’s newest adventure is that of the Four Seasons Yachts, which will form a 14-deck luxury yacht.
The ship is due to set sail at the end of 2025, with destinations set to include the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
There will be 95 suites on board, including the Funnel Suite, which will span across four of the ship’s decks.
The Funnel Suite will have will have a huge outdoor terrace, and it will have enough space for six guests.
It will also have floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which will give passengers 280-degree views of the sea, and a private wading pool.
The other suites on the ship will each have their own private balconies offering even more sea views.
Four Seasons Yachts will also have a large 20m swimming pool too, which will be accompanied by a stylish lounge area.
The high-end yacht will also have its very own Marina, which will be built to accommodate swimming, water sports, and other activities like sailing, snorkeling, and windsurfing.
Guests will be able to rent “sea limousines” too, which will be used to transfer onto dry land.
According to Conde Nast Traveller, the marina area will stretch across the entire width of the ship.
It will be home to several large platforms, lounging decks, and al fresco seating.
There will also be 11 restaurants on board, and there will also be one staff member for every guest.
Reservations for the first voyages open in January 2024, and they will be by invite-only.
Voyages don’t come cheap, with trips starting from $2,500 (£2,005) per person per night.
Larry Pimentel, the CEO of Four Seasons Yachts, told Penta Magazine: “It was important not only from an audience perspective but also from a category perspective to lean into scarcity.
“To this end, voyages are being distributed by invitation only, beginning with Four Seasons guests and travel partners.
“Having this type of managed distribution system puts us more in the realm of a luxury membership club than a discrete product.
“This strategy sets us up to build more of a community around our offering and long-term relationship with our brand.”
The Four Seasons Yachts isn’t the only luxury cruise ship launching in the near future either, Explora I will be the first luxury cruise ship from Explora Journeys.
The Explora I will be able to hold 922 passengers inside its 461 suites, and it will also be home to the world’s very first at-sea Rolex store as well as a Cartier store.
Norwegian Aqua, which is the latest cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise Line, will have the world’s first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide-at-sea.
It will be able to hold 3,751 passengers inside a variety of different rooms and suites, and is also due to set sail in 2025.
Meanwhile, passengers on the MV Gemini can explore 135 countries for less than it costs to rent a flat in London.
