A “SECRET” garden shed hides what’s been hailed as one of the UK’s best restaurants – with just three tables but a dish said to be “so good” it’ll sway all critics.
An unlikely-looking shack in Peckham in south London is home to a tiny restaurant now named one of Britain‘s best – alongside chic eateries run by celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Delia Smith.
The Italian outlet Oi Spaghetti has been included in website OpenTable’s latest list of the country’s top 100 restaurants.
This is despite it being based in a back street car park, with only three dining tables and a minimal menu.
Yet it has taken its place alongside four of Ramsay’s London places in London, Michel Roux Jr‘s Le Gavroche in the capital’s upmarket Mayfair and Delia’s flagship in Norwich.
And the intimate dining experience has won praise for one of Oi Spaghetti’s limited dishes in particular.

Owners Francesco and Tatiania bought the cabin in 2015 before turning it into a restaurant, painting it cream and adding foliage.
Francesco now cooks for 15 hours each day in a open kitchen, typically serving meals for just 15 diners over that time.
The menu offers only three starters and five choices of spaghetti mains, according to the Mirror.
These include what’s called The Classic, featuring crushed organic garlic, chilly flakes, fresh parsley, bacon and kate.
But especially popular seems to be the only dessert, home-made Tiramisu.
Francesco prepares nine portions each morning, using locally-bought cocoa powder, coffee, lady finger biscuits, marsala wine, mascarpone cheese and organic eggs.
He insisted: “If you think you don’t like Tiramisu, try mine.”
He also told of his devotion to cooking what he calls “real food“.
Francesco added: “So many of us big city people are so privileged yet have an unhealthy diet.
“We are so disconnected from our roots, from nature and from each other.”
TripAdvisor reviews include one satisfied diner raving: “Wonderful spaghetti and the best Tiramisu I’ve ever eaten, in an atmospheric setting.”
Another called the place “Peckham’s best-kept secret”, while Oi Spaghetti was also described as a “quirky place” offering a “wonderful night out”.
And Francesco was called “a brilliant chef and guy”, while the restaurant was recommended as somewhere with a “a small but perfectly formed menu”.
A different poster called it “the cutest little place”, while there was also warmth for how “a small setting makes for a cosy experience”.
The £8 Tiramasu was welcomed as “first rate” and also “a dream”.
More ‘hidden gem’ restaurants have just been highlighted in central London’s Leicester Square.
North of the border, best Christmas market snack picks have also been recommended in Scotland‘s second city Glasgow.
And a Wetherspoon pub festive menu was given a rave review.
