The Blues travel to Old Trafford looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins after Sunday’s 3-2 victory over Brighton.
They came up against a United side who are in crisis amid reports that Erik ten Hag has lost the dressing room, with many players believed to be unhappy.
Speaking ahead of the match, Pochettino has given fresh news over the fitness of Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu and Noni Madueke.
‘[Christopher Nkunku is] not involved tomorrow,’ Pochettino said. ‘I think it is like we always tell you, it’s about assessing day-by-day.
‘Sometimes we get excited and we want to have the player as soon as possible but I think we need to be careful.
‘Romeo [Lavia] is doing well also but is not going to be involved.
‘Lesley [Ugochukwu] felt something this week, Noni [Madueke] after Brighton also. Minor problems, we hope that soon they will be available for the team.’
Nkunku is still waiting to make his debut after he signed for the Blues in July, with the west Londoners paying £52m to bring him in from German side RB Leipzig.
Chelsea fans are desperate to see Nkunku in action following his impressive stint at Leipzig, where he registered 70 goals and 56 assists across 172 games.
