NVIDIA hosts Investor Day to support Israeli AI startups – CTech


Almost 120 meetings were held between AI startups and foreign and local VCs

This week NVIDIA held an Investor Day in collaboration with 14 VC firms and more than 60 Israeli AI startups to help support companies and investors seeking investment opportunities. In total nearly 120 meetings were conducted between VCs and companies looking for opportunities in a fundraising phase between pre-Seed and Series B, and a product either in development or production. On average, each VC met with eight startups.

“We see greater importance than ever in these challenging times in the continued support and acceleration of Israel’s legendary startup ecosystem,” said Arik Kol, Senior Director of NVIDIA’s Inception program in Israel. “With leading researchers and breakthrough startups, the local ecosystem plays a key role in unleashing the full potential of the AI revolution across industries worldwide.”

Prominent VCs took part in the event, including Amiti Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Disruptive AI, F2 Venture Capital, Ibex Investors, Insight Partners, Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), OurCrowd, Pitango First, Remagine Ventures, Softbank Ventures Asia, TAL Ventures, and Viola Ventures.

NVIDIA Inception is a global program that supports the startup ecosystem with more than 17,000 companies across a variety of industries, 900 of which are based in Israel.
