Who is George Galloway’s wife Putri Gayatri Pertiwi?
Dutch-born Pertiwi, who has Indonesian heritage, studied cultural anthropology at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
Pertiwi has worked as a consultant for a Dutch research firm, and also as a co-presenter of Galloway’s TV show Sputnik, which was cancelled in March 2022 before moving to YouTube.
She has also produced a number of documentaries, including The Killing$ of Tony Blair (2016) and Killing Kelly (2021).
According the the description on IMDb, The Killing$ of Tony Blair is “The story of Tony Blair’s destruction of the Labour Party, his well-remunerated business interests, and the thousands of innocent people who have died following his decision to invade Iraq.”

When did George and Putri marry?
Pertiwi and Galloway met when she helped out with his charity Viva Palestina.
They couple married on March 31, 2012, in an Islamic ceremony held in Amsterdam — just 48 hours after Galloway’s shock win in the Bradford West by-election.

The initial ceremony was followed by a traditional Javanese ceremony in Sumatra, and then a civil ceremony in the House of Commons in September 2012.
Do George and Putri have any children?
Galloway has three children with his fourth wife Pertiwi.
A son, Toren Mustaqim, was born in July 2014; a daughter, Orla Dhien, was born in 2017; and another daughter, Oban Amaria, was born in August 2020.
Galloway’s first wife Fyffe gave birth to his first daughter Lucy in 1982.
He also had two sons with his third wife Rima Husseini — Zein, born in 2007, and Faris, born in 2011.
Speaking after the birth of his fifth child Galloway said: “It used to be the tradition of Irish Catholic immigrants to have six children, so I’m not stopping here.
“As long as God gives me breath — and energy — there will be more. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me.
“There’s nothing that keeps you young like your children climbing over your face in the morning to wake you up. It’s life-enhancing.”
And following the birth of his sixth child he tweeted: “We are delighted to announce the natural home-birth of our third child — a girl — at 1.41am — 8lbs 6oz.
“Mother and baby are both doing well. Pictures later! She has three brothers and two sisters by the grace of God.
“Huge thanks to the truly wonderful midwives Karen and Lucy.”
