'Late Night With the Devil': Release date, streaming platform, star cast, and more about late-night TV show going wrong

Written and directed by Cameron and Colin Cairnes, ‘Late Night with the Devil‘ depicts how a live television broadcast in 1977 goes wrong and unleashes evil into the nation’s living rooms. Late-night talk show host Jack Delroy, played by David Dastmalchian, invites a medium (Fayssal Bazzi), a skeptic skilled in hypnotism (Ian Bliss), and a psychological therapist (Laura Gordon) working closely with a young girl (Ingrid Torelli) drifting in and out of possession. It is a special Halloween show designed to gain television ratings that have been dwindling. Delroy attempts to communicate with the devil, but unexpected incidents take place, things go haywire and terror is unleased for which no one is ready. Not only the viewers, show host, producers, guests, and everyone else is gripped with fear and horror going down their spine.

According to ‘Collider’, distributed by IFC Films and Shudder, ‘Late Night With the Devil’ will be released on March 22, 2024.This horror film first premiered globally at the SXSW Film Festival, Austin, in March 2023, where it was screened in the ‘Midnighters’ section. This was followed by its screening at the Sydney Film Festival in June 2023. It was also screened at the BFI London Film Festival and the Melbourne International Film Festival. ‘Late Night With the Devil’ was showcased at Sitges Film Festival’s ‘Oficial Fantàstic Competition”, and it won the Best Screenplay award.
