According to the information posted on the website of Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the run time of ‘Inside Out 2’ is one hour 40 minutes. It is about five minutes longer than its 2015 predecessor, which ran for about 95 minutes. Pixar’s two most recent films, ‘Buzz Lightyear’ and ‘Elemental’ were about 105 minutes and 101 minutes respectively.

‘Inside Out 2’ will hit theaters on Jun 14, 2024. Pixar announced the project in September 2022 during the D23 Expo’s animation showcase. The D23 announcement was joined by a confirmation tweet. Pixar took to social media platform X to predict the release date.

Pixar released a trailer for ‘Inside Out 2’ on November 9, 2023. The 90-second trailer shows Ozzy Osborne’s “Crazy Train,” and reintroduces us to our favorite emotions before seeing their control center being demolished in the middle of the night after Anxiety arrives.
Star Cast
While Amy Poehler will be reprising her role as Joy, Phyllis Smith will return as Sadness, and Lewis Black will take the role of Anger. Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader will not be back in their roles as Disgust and Fear respectively. Kaling and Hader as Disgust and Fear will be replaced by Liza Lapira and Tony Hale respectively. Maya Hawke will join the cast as Anxiety.
