Food trucks to keep an eye on

After the devastating fire at Khalil’s Kitchen, at 880 Main St. in Brockton, owner Rudy Alves isn’t giving up on his food dreams and is working on opening a food truck.

“It’s a true testament of determination and resilience even when everything seemed to fall apart our dedication wouldn’t let us sit there and get comfortable,” Alves said.

Loyal customers can expect to try their famous house-made fries, deep-fried chicken, steak and shrimp smothered with delicious sauces. So far, Alves has the truck and is renovating it and perfecting it for his customers. He said he’s excited to launch and can’t wait to show the region what he has in store for the future.

Right now, the food business is waiting for approval from the board of health to officially launch its food truck, but in the meantime, customers can visit its Instagram page and book for future catering events.

Take a trip to West Bridgewater and dive into the tantalizing dishes of Belly Buster’s food trailer.
