COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – On Monday evening, police were called out to a disturbance at an auto shop in Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs police said 58-year-old Fredrick Ates was attempting to enter Mr. Gearhead, an auto shop at 2725 N. Nevada.
Police said did not specify what exactly he did but said Ates may have been swinging around a bar at the auto shop when the business owner called the police.
Ates attempted to run, but police said they quickly caught him and detained him.
Police said Ates had an outstanding felony warrant for failure to appear on a motor vehicle theft.
