The biggest gainers of the session on the were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. King Slide Works Co Ltd (TW:) added 10.00% or 130.00 points to end at 1,430.00 and Foxconn Technology Co Ltd (TW:) was up 9.98% or 8.70 points to 95.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ALi Corp (TW:), which lost 39.85% or 13.08 points to trade at 19.75 in late trade. Chien Kuo Construction Co Ltd (TW:) declined 20.18% or 5.54 points to end at 21.90 and GeoVision Inc (TW:) shed 10.86% or 7.56 points to 62.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.65% or 0.47 to $71.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.54% or 0.41 to hit $75.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 4.95 to trade at $2,700.85 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was down 0.12% to 32.07, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.22% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 104.37.
