no doubt the galaxy wins overall but theres something enticing using iOS. we have to admit that.
oh i forgorr! iPhones has the silliest phone cases lmao. one of the reason why I bought an iPhone is because theres just sooo much phone cases to choose from online. i even bought a frying pan case just because its silly lol

Conclusion: The Samsung S23 Ultra beats the iPhone 14 Pro Max in pretty much all aspects and it’s the king of 2023 and the best smartphone on the market. Good job Samsung!

A big no for both because of their size.
iPhone 14 pro is the way to go because it is smaller in size but has all the specs of pro max, unlike samsung there is no s23 ultra in 6 inch version and the normal s23/s23+ are totally another phone their design is also not good as compared to ultra.

Poor samsung , even iphone is gonna have zoom lens in 2023 but samsung cheaping out with prime lens. Even iphone to use latest M panel, while s23 u has one gen behind 14 pro max.

Had both for few days, did some tests, for landscape, nightshots, street still with non moving objects photography then samsung is better, but for people outdoor and indoor shots, fast moving things, then iphone 14 pro max won 99% of the time, color accuracy of skin tones alyways better on iphone, its more rounded and more reliable camera for my needs, wish I could transfer it to samsung then I would pick samsung, but now I end up with iphone. Those two phones are too different to call better and worse, its more about matter of preference.

These comparisons will get very interesting in the flagship killers and midrangers segments, as I’m of the opinion that most flagships comparisond like these are essentially useless to the regular user.

Feem, 3 hours agoGreed-wise they’re as bad as each other, but the OS is what makes all the difference here…
… moreiPhones will be miles better this year. 14 Pro Max is one off year for Apple. They will bounce back this year. In still photos they will still lack compared to Oppo Find X6 Pro/Vivo X90 Pro Plus and Xiaomi 13 Ultra. But rest of things will be top notch with 15 Pro Max.

Also not giving charger in the box is ridiculous. Within two years, Samsung will loose it’s shine from world market. Updates isn’t everything. Value for money is everything and Samsung isn’t value for money proposition.

Definitely interesting.
However I would personally will find more value in more diverse comparison.
I.e. underdog Vs flagman
Last year flagman Vs this year flagman or top midranger.
Especially last or two year old flagman Vs current stage phone would be interesting from you who handled them both and potentially can make a bit of testing if you still have the “old” phones around.
It would be very interesting and probably useful for a lot of people on the “budget”.
