BERLIN (Reuters) – BMW will not cut electric vehicle prices to gain market share, but makes adjustments to pricing in certain markets when necessary, its chief executive and chief financial officers said on Friday.
“We have no interest in sinking prices to gain market share. That’s not our strategy. And as you can see, we are managing to grow substantially even with very acceptable prices,” Chief Executive Oliver Zipse said.
“Still, it is true that we cannot escape market conditions and we make price adjustments where necessary,” he added, without providing details.
