Skull found in brook belonged to Easton man who has been missing more than 2 years

Authorities say a skull found in a brook belonged to an Easton man who went missing more than two years ago. The grandfather of Matthew Yeomans of 113 Summer St. reported him missing on Sept. 21, 2021, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said. Yeomans was 25 at that time. When he went missing, police found Yeoman’s cell phone, ID cards and wallet in his house.

Brockton schools to eliminate 22 teaching jobs. What are they using the money for?

Brockton Public Schools is eliminating 22 teaching positions at the elementary and high school levels and replacing them with 12 new behavior management specialist positions, a district spokesperson said. The eliminated positions include 17 floor teaching positions at Brockton High School, four teaching positions at Brockton Virtual Learning Academy and a specialist role at PROMISE College and Career Academy, according to Jordan Mayblum, director of communications at Brockton Public Schools.
