Chris Wood and Anthony Elanga are still undergoing assessment as the Nottingham Forest duo race to be fit for Saturday’s clash with Everton.
Wood has enjoyed a remarkable season in front of goal for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, scoring 18 goals in 29 Premier League appearances this campaign.
However, the 33-year-old has been sidelined for Forest’s last three games having picked up a hip injury on international break in March.
Elanga, meanwhile, has been equally impressive going forward for Forest but was withdrawn at half-time after picking up a knock during their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend.
Alongside Taiwo Awoniyi, the pair are facing a race to be fit for Saturday’s with Everton at the City Ground.
But Forest boss Nuno was giving nothing away when asked for an update in Thursday’s pre-match press conference.
‘We’re still assessing all of them,’ he told reporters.

‘They have been struggling with problems – some small, some not so small – but we have to assess them. We have one more day and then we will see if they can be available for the game.’
Asked if he was hopeful about their chances of being passed fit for Saturday’s clash, Nuno responded: ‘All of them. All of them could play or none of them, it depends on how they recover and how they feel. It’s about that.

‘We miss when the players are not available, we miss all of them. Of course, Chris has been giving us so much things.
‘Unfortunately, Taiwo picked up an injury at the same time otherwise we would have been more balanced. The absence of two strikers makes it a bit more difficult to prepare.’
Forest are also set to be without left-back Ola Aina who was forced off with a calf injury during the first half of Forest’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United last week.
‘For this game, no, unfortunately not,’ Nuno confirmed when asked about Aina’s availability.
‘For the next one, we hope. It is going to be assessing day by day.
‘He spends I don’t know how many hours at the training ground, receiving treatment, so we are trying to have him back as soon as possible.’
