TUPPER LAKE — The Wild Center in Tupper Lake hosted the premiere of “A Jar Full of Christmas,” a movie filmed in the Tri-Lakes region, on July 25-26.

The sold-out events featured director and writer Candy Cain, along with the cast and crew of the film.

Cain shared her excitement about the film’s debut.

“I think the Wild Center is such a unique place. Since it is not-for-profit, I told them they could host the premiere and retain all of the ticket sales. It was really special to have the premiere at the location where we filmed several scenes,” she said.

The premiere nights were filled with nothing less than holiday cheer, as the audience donned themselves in festive garments and entered the world of “A Jar Full of Christmas.”

The cast and crew mingled with fans, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and taking photos. One of the cast members in attendance was Kenney Myers, who starred as Tim Shavens in the film.

“The support from the audience was incredible, with attendees traveling from far and wide,” Myers said. “Sharing this moment with my family and hearing how well we depicted the town made it an experience I’ll always cherish.”
