Crypto Market Surges Marginally, Trading Volume Gains
The global crypto market gains marginally on Friday. The total market cap was up by 3.40 per cent to $2.39 trillion even though the total trading volume was also up by 0.58 per cent to $82.18 billion. Bitcoin BTC was the most trending. It was up by 4.42 per cent to $67,006.63. Its 24-hour trading volume was $35.38 billion.
SATS 1000SATS was the top gainer. It was up by 16.57 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $201.62 million. Mantra OM was the top loser. It was down by 3.22 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $17.88 million.
DeFi was up by 1.09 per cent to $4.71 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.
Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder & CEO, Unocoin said, “VanEck predicts that Bitcoin could reach $2.9 million by 2050, thanks to its acceptance as a global medium of exchange and reserve asset. As traditional reserve currencies lose value and Bitcoin’s scalability issues are addressed, it could facilitate 10% of international trade and 5% of domestic trade. Central banks could hold 2.5% of their assets in BTC, leading to a market cap of $61 trillion. Bitcoin’s role in the global financial system could grow significantly depending on overcoming scalability issues and maintaining stability. Bitcoin is currently trading at $66,274, showing a 0.75% increase and a bullish trend.”

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was up by 4.42 per cent to $67,006.63. Its 24-hour trading volume was 35.38 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 54.2 per cent.
Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 2.34 per cent to $3,260.27 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $21.49 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 17.1 per cent.
Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1.00. It was up by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $62.63 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Other Altcoins
Solana SOL was up by 3.48 per cent to $177.52. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.54 billion.
Avalanche AVAX was trading at $28.15, up by 1.79 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $369.64 million.
Cardano ADA was up by 2.98 per cent to $0.4086 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $317.62 million.
