What Crypto Exchanges Are Saying About Current Market Scenario
Mudrex co-founder and CEO Edul Patel told ABP Live, “In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin rose above the $64,000 level in the past 24 hours after the US economic growth in the first quarter fell short of expectation. Bitcoin faces immediate resistance at $66,200 and support at $63,700. Meanwhile, Ethereum is striving to reclaim ground above $3,100, with clearing $3,200 essential for sustained upward momentum.”
Rajagopal Menon, Vice President, WazirX, said, “Bitcoin prices mildly recovered amid a perfect storm of negative news. Proposed tax hikes on capital gains and unrealized gains spooked investors, while the arrest of developers behind a privacy wallet raised red flags about regulatory overreach. Top it off with a big sell-off by a major institutional holder, and you’ve got a recipe for a down day in the crypto market. BTC faces resistance at $64,500, followed by $65k and $65.5k levels. Surpassing this could take Bitcoin back to $66k levels.”
Sathvik Vishwanath, CEO and co-founder of Unocoin, said, “BlackRock’s 71-day ETF inflow streak has ended, impacting Bitcoin market momentum. BlackRock’s IBIT saw its first drop in investment since January, with other funds also experiencing cooling enthusiasm. Hong Kong plans to launch bitcoin and ether ETFs to challenge US dominance in digital assets. Fidelity’s Bitcoin ETF received a record investment of $40 million, signaling institutional confidence despite low public participation. The current price of Bitcoin is $64,165, with a pivot point of $65,825. Resistance levels are at $67,687, $69,232 and $71,068, while support levels are at $63,654, $61,387 and $59,746, suggesting a bearish stance below $65,825.”
Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUcoin, said, “The price of Bitcoin briefly fell below $63,000 as the entire crypto market took a hit, driven by concerns about inflation and slower growth in the U.S. Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s newly authorized ETFs for Bitcoin and Ethereum are poised to debut on April 30, 2024, signalling an upcoming increase in Bitcoin demand and a short-term bullish sentiment in the crypto market. After the Hong Kong ETF launch, we can expect a similar price momentum to that of January for Bitcoin, which could potentially push the largest crypto to a new ATH in the upcoming months.”
CoinDCX Research Team told ABP Live, “In the last 24 hours, the crypto market saw a downturn as US GDP data came in lower than expected, coupled with concerns over BTC ETF inflows, particularly from BlackRock, which reported zero inflows for the first time. From a technical standpoint, both BTC and ETH showed mixed movements. BTC needs to surpass the $67000 mark to resume its upward trend toward its local all-time high. Similarly, ETH must reclaim the $3200 level for a similar upward movement. Additionally, the decrease in BTC dominance over the past few days could potentially benefit altcoins if BTC continues to rise gradually.”
