Dow futures little changed, Scholastic drops 15.3% after-hours

Investing.com – U.S. stock futures were trading in a tight range during Thursday’s evening deals, after major benchmark averages extended declines during the regular session as higher Treasury yields sapped risk appetite.

By 7:05pm ET (11:05pm GMT) , and were each trading in a range of 0.1%.

In extended deals, Scholastic Corp (NASDAQ:) shed 15.3% after Q1 losses of $2.20 per share versus expected losses of $1.20 per share on revenues of $228.5 million versus $272.52 million expected.

Ahead in Friday’s trade, investors will be looking towards preliminary and PMIs, as well as a speech from .

During Thursday’s regular deals, the lost 370.5 points or 1.1% to 34,070.4, the dipped 72.2 dipped or 1.6% to 4,330 and the shed 245.1 points or 1.8% to 13,224.

On the bond markets, rates were at fresh 16-year highs of 4.494%.
