DRIVERS have been racing to get their hands on an item from The Range that only costs £1.29 and will get rid of condensation from car windows in seconds.
Homewares store The Range is currently selling a microfibre demister pad from Carkit for the rock-bottom price of £1.29.

The pad, which measures 12cm by 8cm, with a depth of 4cm, is said to be “super soft and ultra-absorbent”.
The blurb online claims it will “easily remove condensation from windows so you can see out of them more clearly.
“Ideal for in the car and domestic use, the microfibre will both clean and polish your windows.”
The demister pad is also available from Wilko at the same price, according to price comparison app Trolley.
Both Asda and Tesco are also selling a similar demister pad for £1.50.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s is currently selling a Triplewax demister pad priced for £2 which can also be bought at Morrisons for 15p more, while on Amazon it costs £3.45.
Ocado has a Kent demister pad on sale for £3 and Halfords has its own-brand version for the same price.
On Amazon, the Triplewax pad came in for some positive reviews, picking up an average of 4.2 stars out of five from nearly 2,000 reviews.
One verified reviewer wrote: “Used it to clean my car, it’s quite good and works well.”
Another said: “Great purchase and comes in use frequently.”
While a third person added: “This is excellent for cleaning the car.”
However, not everyone was quite so pleased.
One reviewer posted: “I am not terribly impressed with this product!
“It doesn’t remove the condensation easily from my car windscreen!”
Meanwhile, the secret to getting rid of misty windows this winter could be just a flick of a switch away – in a hack most people seemingly ignore.
What’s more, if you don’t clear your windscreen fully, you could be pulled over for driving with an obstructed view, which can carry a penalty of a fine of up to £2,500 and three licence points.
Elsewhere, drivers have been urged to keep a cheap item in their car to help them keep warm this winter.
