The City of Enterprise is requesting the public’s input on the latest draft of the zoning ordinance.
The ordinance serves to implement and support the city’s comprehensive plan, the developmental policies of the city, and to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the community.
“This is an opportunity for the citizens of Enterprise to have their voices heard,” Assistant Director of Engineering Services Thomas Hardy said. “The planning commission members spent many hours discussing changes to better serve Enterprise. Before we move forward with this, we want to make sure our community has an opportunity to weigh in as well.”
Hardy said public comments will be accepted through Dec. 5 and may be emailed to him at thardy@enterpriseal.gov. Citizens are also encouraged to attend the next Planning Commission meeting on Dec. 12 at 4:30 p.m. at the Enterprise Civic Center.
