Those who stage the “Ramona” pageant met Santa Claus for a final celebration of the outdoor play’s 100th year near Hemet.

It was the “Ramona” Holiday Pancake Breakfast, which returned Sunday, Dec. 3, to Golden Era Golf Course near San Jacinto after a pandemic-related hiatus.

About 150 attended the event, which featured visits and photos with Santa, a news release states. The Soboba Foundation donated toys for children.

With the breakfast behind, preparations are beginning for the 101st season of “Ramona” in 2024.
