Infosys CFO Nilanjan Roy resigns, deputy Jayesh Sanghrajka named as replacement



Infosys’ chief financial officer Nilanjan Roy has resigned from the company, effective March 31 2024, the Bengaluru-based IT company informed the exchanges in a filing.

The company has announced the appointment of Jayesh Sanghrajka as its new CFO, effective April 1, 2014.

Roy, who joined the company in 2019, said he was resigning “due to personal reasons for exploring external growth opportunities”. Prior to joining the company he had served as global CFO for Bharti Airtel, and had a more than a decade long stint with Unilever.

Sanghrajka, the incoming CFO, has been with the IT company for 18 years – first between 2000-07 and currently since December 2012.

Sanghrajka was appointed as the deputy chief financial officer for the Infosys Group in October 2015 and is presently responsible for various areas of the finance function including investor relations, business finance, corporate finance, treasury and tax. Additionally, he also oversees the mergers and acquisitions portfolio.
