IF you fancy staying at the biggest hotel in the world, it surprisingly won’t break the bank – and there is more than enough to do there.
First World Hotel has 7,351 rooms, so you can expect to be sharing the hotel with more than 14,000 guests when full.
Found across 28 floors, they range from standard and deluxe rooms to World Club rooms that have extra living space.
It’s certainly a distinctive hotel, painted in rainbow stripes, and has been dubbed the Las Vegas of Asia.
It opened in 2001 with just one tower and was awarded the title of being the biggest in the world back in 2015 by the Guinness World Records.
However, it eventually lost out to The Palazzo in Las Vegas in 2008 following it’s The Venetian expansion.
The three-star First World Hotel is now set across two buildings, with the second called Tower 2 Annex adding it’s additional 1,233 rooms, regaining its World Record title in 2016.
Along with rooms, inside the hotel is also The Food Factory for a buffet breakfast, along with The Junction for cakes and pastries and the Gelato kiosk for milkshakes and ice cream.
But it’s not just a hotel – it is also connected to the 500,00sqft First World Plaza complex.
Inside the shopping centre, which is one floor above the lobby, is an indoor theme park, Skytropolis Funland.
It has 20 rides inside, including the thrill rides such as spinning disc Disco and lie-down rollercoaster Super Glider.
A Ferris wheel, bumper cars and and drop tower ride are also inside, along with a carousel.
Other attractions include the European-style Snow World with tobogganing and igloos, Genting Bowl, arts culture centre Seni Kome Peng Hen and the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium.
And while gambling in Malaysia is banned, there is a casino on-site which allows it.
An indoor swimming pool, bowling alley and cinema are also inside.
If the hotel dining isn’t enough, there are more than 50 cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from as well.

Predicted to cost around £2.7billion, it hoped to open in 2017 – but this was put on pause in 2015, with the half-built resort yet to open as of 2024.
