Cognitive decline:
The Axios report stated that the President is only active from 10am-4pm and he is unable to focus after these hours. He is also seen not be healthy during his foreign visits. This is a working time of only six hours. Further, it has also been reported that there are shorter stairs when he boards the Air Force One. He has tripped on multiple occasion while boarding this presidential aircraft.
His proclivity for appearing lost and wandering off has also been in the news. During his recent visit to Italy for the G-7 summit, he was seen wandering away during a group photo session before the Italy Prime Minister gently nudged him. The President is also having certain physical health challenges.
White House is working overtime:
According to the same report, many personnel who are part of the presidential staff at the White House have been aware of the president’s declining health. This has been well known to people in the White House for the past few years. Further, many have been working to reduce the scrutiny on Biden and helping avoid many of the gaffes. It was earlier reported that Jill Biden was upset with many of the members of Joe Biden’s team and had said that the team was unable to prevent these gaffes and its utterances.

The White House has strongly rubbished many of these reports. Taking cognizance of some videos, they termed it as “cheap fakes”. The first US Presidential debate was an opportunity for Biden to showcase his abilities and dismiss concerns regarding his health. However, analysts termed it a complete failure and said that he has been unable to convince the electorate. Presently, the numbers are stacked up against him.
