An India-bound cargo ship, carrying up to 52 people has reportedly been seized, reported The Sun. The Galaxy Leader vessel was sailing from Turkey and bound for India. The seizsure indicates the potential involvement of Yemen-based Houthi rebels, who previously vowed to target all ships linked to Israel or display its flag in the Red Sea. According to reports from Axios, the Israeli authorities admitted that the Galaxy Leader vessel, which is partly owned by an Israeli company, had been seized by rebels. However, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) later contradicted assertions that the ship had Israeli origins.
