Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.02%


Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.02% to hit a new all time high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 8.89% or 400.00 points to trade at 4,900.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:) added 4.55% or 1,850.00 points to end at 42,540.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:) was up 3.66% or 31.50 points to 893.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which lost 2.62% or 830.00 points to trade at 30,870.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:) declined 1.07% or 850.00 points to end at 78,510.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:) shed 0.39% or 16.00 points to 4,133.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 318 to 129 and 92 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.43% or 0.97 to $68.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.63% or 0.45 to hit $71.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 14.10 to trade at $2,680.80 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.81% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.73% to 4.16.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 100.11.
