Israel shares higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.97%


Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.97% to hit a new all time high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Enlight Ene (TASE:), which rose 6.05% or 351.00 points to trade at 6,150.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:) added 5.45% or 69.00 points to end at 1,334.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was up 4.94% or 3,770.00 points to 80,120.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which lost 1.69% or 620.00 points to trade at 36,070.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:) declined 1.66% or 1,390.00 points to end at 82,310.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) shed 0.81% or 540.00 points to 65,840.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 324 to 113 and 102 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.67% or 1.95 to $74.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.33% or 1.80 to hit $78.15 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 32.00 to trade at $2,548.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.54% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.12.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.78% at 100.61.
