Children converged on a golf course, not to swing clubs, but to use fishing poles.
It was the 2024 Kids Fishing Tournament, hosted Saturday, April 13, by Golden Era Golf Course near San Jacinto.
Youths from 6 to 15 years old and their parents enjoyed a free breakfast and lunch and a fun time fishing at the three lakes on the course. The event also featured raffle prizes and free T-shirts for children.
Medals and prizes were handed out — as well as a bonus of four Disneyland tickets for the person who nabbed the biggest fish.
