TEMPERATURES across the UK have been plunging as low as -5, so we’ve rounded up the best holiday deals to warmer locations.

With deals from £584pp and average temperatures of 26C, you can start saying goodbye to the gloomy weather.

The discounted winter sun holidays come from First Choice, a UK travel company that is part of the TUI group.

Hundreds of packages are available, with some bucket-list-worthy destinations like Maldives, India, Mexico, Thailand and Costa Rica.

All the trips include your return flights, hotel, resort transfers and baggage allowance.

First Choice has departures from more than 10 UK airports, including Belfast, Bristol, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Newcastle.

The biggest bargain we’ve found is in Goa, India, from £584pp – where temperatures are currently hitting up to 33C.

The water temperature is also around 28C, so it’s considered one of the best times of the year to swim and explore the sea.

It usually takes more than 10 hours to reach the Indian destination from the UK, but it’s one of Brits’ favourite destinations in the country.

It was even included in National Geographic’s ‘top ten nightlife cities’ list.

Here, you’ll stay at Resort Lagoa Azul, which has two pools, a poolside bar and a restaurant, while the beach is just 10 minutes away.

Another great deal we’ve found is Mexico’s Pacific Coast, with week-long stays costing from £976pp on an all-inclusive basis.

The resort town of Puerto Vallarta is filled with golden sandy beaches, nightlife and local markets.
