A 27-year-old man is warded in a critical condition following a shooting incident in Enterprise.
The victim was shot at about 10:20pm on Friday along Chinese Drive off Crown Trace in Enterprise.
At the time the victim was said to be liming along the roadway with a group of friends when he was confronted by a lone suspect.
The victim was shot multiple times at close range.
The suspect then fled the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The police and emergency health services were notified and the victim was taken to seek medical attention at the Chaguanas Health Facility and subsequently taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for further treatment.
