Investing.com – Mexico equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Banco Del Bajio SA Institution De Banca Multiple (BMV:), which rose 6.92% or 3.00 points to trade at 46.38 at the close. Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:) added 4.46% or 0.40 points to end at 9.36 and Becle SA (BMV:) was up 4.38% or 1.25 points to 29.78 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Regional SAB de CV (BMV:), which lost 1.99% or 2.55 points to trade at 125.65 in late trade. Arca Continental , S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) declined 1.64% or 2.96 points to end at 177.19 and Fomento Economico Mexicano UBD (BMV:) shed 1.59% or 3.08 points to 190.89.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 116 to 110 and 20 ended unchanged on the Mexico Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.63% or 17.05 to $2,708.35 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.53% or 0.37 to hit $70.76 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.07% or 0.05 to trade at $74.47 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.08% to 19.85, while EUR/MXN rose 0.09% to 21.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 103.59.
