Investing.com – Mexico equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Controladora Vuela Compania de Aviacion SAB de CV (BMV:), which rose 4.65% or 0.52 points to trade at 11.70 at the close. Megacable Holdings, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) added 4.62% or 1.89 points to end at 42.77 and Arca Continental , S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) was up 1.88% or 3.32 points to 179.76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Becle SA (BMV:), which lost 3.19% or 1.04 points to trade at 31.61 in late trade. Banco Del Bajio SA Institution De Banca Multiple (BMV:) declined 3.19% or 1.53 points to end at 46.45 and Regional SAB de CV (BMV:) shed 3.12% or 3.93 points to 122.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 118 to 112 and 13 ended unchanged on the Mexico Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.84% or 21.20 to $2,547.20 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $69.32 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.05% or 0.04 to trade at $72.89 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.11% to 19.88, while EUR/MXN rose 0.10% to 22.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 101.03.
