Investing.com – Mexico equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:), which rose 3.51% or 0.33 points to trade at 9.73 at the close. Alsea , S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:) added 2.57% or 1.36 points to end at 54.33 and America Movil SAB de CV M (BMV:) was up 1.13% or 0.18 points to 16.18 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Industrias Penoles Sab De CV (BMV:), which lost 7.27% or 21.24 points to trade at 271.11 in late trade. GCC SAB de CV (BMV:) declined 4.02% or 6.18 points to end at 147.58 and Grupo Comercial Chedraui, SAB De CV (BMV:) shed 3.27% or 5.05 points to 149.17.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 148 to 92 and 19 ended unchanged on the Mexico Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.52% or 14.00 to $2,680.90 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.43% or 0.97 to hit $68.64 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.25% or 0.89 to trade at $71.98 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.49% to 19.71, while EUR/MXN rose 0.24% to 22.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 100.15.
