More than 100 volunteers spruced up two Riverside parks Saturday, Oct. 12.
They joined the group Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful to do projects at Arlington Park and Hunt Park.
The volunteer effort included representatives from Caltrans, Clean California, Keep America Beautiful, Keep California Beautiful, the Riverside Public Works Department, Riverside Parks and Recreation Department, Love Riverside and the Arlington Business Partnership, a news release states.
Volunteers cleaned up litter, removed graffiti and added native plants.
New murals were unveiled at Arlington Park.
A Family Health Fair sponsored by Love Riverside at Hunt Park followed the work.
