All four of the Nevis High School students who participated in the solo contest on Nov. 1 at Cass Lake High School earned superior ratings.
Instrumental soloists recognized were Grace McNamee for her snare drum solo “Drumnastics,” Erin Hansen for her clarinet solo “Chanson Moderne,” Annabelle Bolster for her french horn solo “Scherzo” and Adeline Bjorklund for her flute solo “The Ballet of the Shepherds.”
Bjorklund’s vocal solo “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” also earned the Best in Site Award.
