Olympic Arena lit for Ukraine | News, Sports, Jobs – The Adirondack Daily Enterprise

Twelve New York state landmarks, including the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, were illuminated with blue and yellow lights on Friday to recognize the one-year anniversary of the ongoing war in Ukraine. The Olympic Center’s 1932 arena is seen here. Other landmarks lit this way included One World Trade Center, Niagara Falls and the Grand Central Terminal. Gov. Kathy Hochul also directed the Ukrainian flag to be flown over the state Capitol in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
