Save £100 a year on your Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions with simple switch


Customers with Netflix and Disney+ could save £100 on their subcriptions with a simple switch.

Both providers offer a version of their standard subscription with adverts, which is cheaper than the same option with adverts.

By switching to the standard with adverts subscription, a person can save £6 a month on their Netflix package and £3 a month on their Disney+ subscription.

This provides total savings of £9 a month which add up to £108 over the course of a year.

Viewers should note for the Netflix with adverts package, they will not have access to some films and TV shows they would be able to see with the standard without adverts option.

This is how the subscription costs break down:

Netflix

  • Standard with adverts: £4.99 a month
  • Standard: £10.99 a month

Savings: £6 a month.

Disney+

  • Standard with adverts: £4.99 a month
  • Standard: £7.99 a month

Savings: £3 a month.

With either package for Netflix, customers can watch shows in Full HD on two supported devices, but a person would need the without adverts subscription to download shows.

Likewise for both options for Disney+, people can watch their favourite shows in 1080p Full HD.

Express.co.uk a person signed up to premium and full access streaming subscriptions could rack up costs of over £115 a month.

This is how much the premium subscription costs were calculated. Netflix is not included in the list as it is part of the Sky package.
