The high school spring sports season is coming to a close.
But there’s plenty of unfinished business to attend to in the final weeks of the regular season. League titles are on the line. Playoff spots and seedings are being battled for. Career milestones are within reach.
So there’s plenty going on before the postseason kicks off. Baseball, softball and lacrosse brackets will be announced on May 29. Rugby and tennis pairings will be announced on May 28.

Monday, May 13
BOYS LACROSSE
Hunter Grafton (5 goals, 5 assists), Jonathan Halpin (3 goals, 6 assists) and Matt Grafton (5 goals, 2 assists) had big offensive showings in Abington’s 18-8 win over Middleboro.
Teddy Lynch scored his 100th career goal in Quincy/North Quincy’s 14-7 win over Somerville.

King Philip defeated Stoughton, 18-0.
Ethan St. Jean made 13 saves in Oliver Ames’ 15-0 loss to Franklin.
Cylas Hickey (5 goals, assist) and Connor Kingman (3 goals, 4 assists) led the way offensively and Brayden Bates starred in net as West Bridgewater/East Bridgewater defeated Hull, 10-3.
Teddy Glynn had 3 goals and 2 assists in Norwell’s 11-9 loss to Xaverian.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Cohasset defeated Silver Lake, 15-9, behind 5 goals and an assist from Avery Regan. Janet O’Carroll made 7 saves.
Ashley McLaren scored her 100th career point in Bridgewater-Raynham’s 10-9 loss to Bishop Feehan. Emily Keefe scored 7 goals.
Marin Healey played well in Hull’s 18-2 win over East Bridgewater.
Elle Murphy scored 8 goals in Cardinal Spellman’s 17-11 loss to St. Mary’s of Lynn. She’s the first player in program history to reach 200 career goals.
Taylor McAndrew and Kit Perron each had a goal in Oliver Ames’ 14-2 loss to Franklin.
Middleboro defeated Abington, 12-11.
Holly Panttila (6 goals, assist), Lexi Davos (4 goals, 2 assists) and Charlise Cox (3 goals, 4 assists) had big games in Norwell’s 20-17 loss to Medfield.
SOFTBALL
Zahria Daley and Sophie Fish combined for a no-hitter in Milton’s 11-0 win over Brookline. Abbey Hunt and Victoria Fish each hit a home run while Cara Facey had 2 hits.
Delaney Moquin allowed 2 hits and struck out 12 in Silver Lake’s 8-2 win over Plymouth North. Alannah Waters (2-for-2), Addison Willett (2-for-3, 2 RBIs), Anna Craft (2 RBIs) and Mady Bryan (2 RBIs) led the offensive effort.
Needham defeated Weymouth. Paige Sellon and Lindsay Fleming each had 1 RBI.
Randolph defeated Muniz Academy, 15-0.
Pembroke defeated Quincy/North Quincy, 6-2.
Cohasset defeated Rockland, 9-1, Maddy LeFevre struck out 8 while allowing 4 hits. Catherine Toomey (2-for-4, double) had 4 RBIs and Angela Grimes (2-for-3) had an RBI and scored 3 times.
Duxbury defeated Whitman-Hanson, 9-1. Taryn Leonard and Ashlyn McCampbell each had 2 hits in the loss.
Noey Giardina had 3 hits (double, 2 runs, 2 RBIs) in Hanover’s 12-8 loss to Plymouth South. McKenzie Foley had 2 hits (triple, 3 runs, 2 RBIs).
Abby Mercer had 2 RBIs and Julia Schirmer went 3-for-4 (RBI, run) in Hingham’s 6-3 win over Marshfield. Bilyana Wilkin had 2 hits, 2 runs and earned the win in the circle.
Madi Delano pitched a shutout (5 strikeouts, 4 hits, 1 walk) in Bridgewater-Raynham’s 1-0 win over New Bedford. Chloe Martin plated Lily Berman with an infield hit in the bottom of the fifth inning for the game’s lone run.
Sophomore Sofia Duran had a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to push Fontbonne Academy to an 8-7 win over Bristol-Plymouth.
Rebecca Hornung allowed 1 run and struck out 9 in Southeastern’s 5-1 win over East Bridgewater.
Maddie Butler (1 RBIs) and Regina Silva (3 RBIs) had 3 hits apiece in Carver’s 27-14 win over St. John Paul II.
BASEBALL
Marshfield defeated Hingham, 6-2, behind a complete game from Tor Maas (1 earned run, 4 hits, 7 strikeouts. Jack Doherty had 2 RBIs and Anderson Dalton had a 2-run triple.
George Slauson (home run, 2 RBIs, 2 runs) and DC Brown (3-for-4) led Plymouth North to a 12-2 win over Silver Lake.
Jack Reyes (5 hits, 2 walks allowed, 8 strikeouts) pitched a shutout in Weymouth’s 1-0 win over Needham. Matt Oates had an RBI double.
Abington defeated Middleboro, 12-3, as John Sellon belted a home run and Cullen Crocker had 2 hits. Steve Madden pitched 5 innings to pick up his third win of the season.
North Quincy defeated Pembroke, 7-0, behind 6 shutout innings from Michael Campbell (2 hits allowed, 9 strikeouts. Charlie Ambroult had 3 RBIs
Ryder Holmes earned the win in the start and Brady Shuffain had a 2-inning save in Carver’s 9-4 win over St. John Paul II. Nathan Dirado had a pair of doubles and 5 RBIs.
Ben Dowdall earned his first varsity win on the mound, allowing 1 hit over 3 ⅓ innings in West Bridgewater’s 6-5 win over Case.
Jack Sullivan (2-for-2, walk) and Reid Dexter both had 2 RBIs in Milton’s 9-5 win over Brookline.
Liam Shepherd went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored in Norwell’s 5-1 win over Martha’s Vineyard. Jack Magee earned the win while Cam Hohmann pitched a scoreless seventh.
Collin Meserve pitched a gem (complete game, 10 strikeouts, 3 hits, 0 walks, 1 run) in East Bridgewater’s 3-1 win over Rockland.
Braintree defeated Walpole, 3-2, in 11 innings as Sean Canavan doubled and scored in the 11th. Luke Joyce (7 innings, 2 hits, 1 run allowed) and Connor Grieve (4 innings of shutout relief) pitched well.
Alex Confarotta pitched well (5 ⅓ innings) and 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs in Cardinal Spellman’s 6-5 win over Southeastern. Michael Boutiette, Ben Catton, Johnny Petruzzo, Jeremy Schapansky, Caleb Foster and Kevin Sanchez each had 1 hit.
Gabriel Knudsen struck out 16 in Hanover’s 2-0 win over Plymouth South. He allowed 2 hits and 1 walk in the shutout effort. Joseph DaCosta had 3 hits.
Hull’s Nick Tiani was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and 3 RBIs in a 16-4 win over Norfolk Aggie that was shortened to 5 innings. Luke Dunham (3-for-3, 3 RBIs) and John Reynolds (2-for-3, 2 RBIs) also starred at the plate for the Pirates (10-5), and Liam Coneely earned the complete-game win, allowing 4 hits with 10 strikeouts.
Ryan Baker earned the win by allowing 1 earned run and 5 hits in 6 innings in a 7-1 win over Duxbury. Jason Nye, Cam Beltramini and Johnny Walker all had 2-hit days.
Ayden Lisi (double, triple) had 5 RBIs and 3 runs and Tommy Guinan pitched allowed 1 hit over a 5-inning complete game in Scituate’s 12-1 win over Quincy.
BOYS TENNIS
Scituate defeated Quincy, 5-0.
North Quincy defeated Pembroke, 5-0.
In Olives Ames’ 3-2 win over Norton, as Max Westerbeke (third singles), Nick Wagner/Brendan Teehan (first doubles) and Alex Vasilou/Jack Andromolas (second doubles) won their matches.
Point getters were #3 singles max westerbeke, doubs 1 nick wagner and brendan teehan, and doubs 2 alex vasilou and jack andromolas.
GIRLS TENNIS
Scituate defeated Quincy, 5-0.
Pembroke defeated North Quincy, 4-1.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
North Quincy defeated Xaverian, 3-0.
Greater New Bedford Voke defeated Quincy, 3-0.
BOYS TRACK & FIELD
Brockton defeated Bridgewater-Raynham, 126-121, to claim the Southeast Conference championship. Lucas Andrade took first in three events (100 meters, 200, high jump) for the Boxers. Jarred Mighty won the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles while Jaden Lopes-Ribeiro won the long jump and was second in the high jump. Wolf Victor won the 400m. The 4×100 relay team of Cijai Tyler, Ricardo Pierre, Jovanni Volcimus and Brandon Torres won to secure the victory.
