St James’s Place: what is your experience?

St James’s Place is the UK’s largest wealth manager, with nearly £170bn of assets under management and a fleet of almost 5,000 advisers.

But regulation has put the spotlight on the adviser community — SJP in particular. Consumer Duty rules, which came into force last year in an attempt to ensure customers receive a good deal, led SJP to overhaul its fee structure. The industry now faces claims from customers who have not received sufficient levels of financial advice, despite paying their fees.

Are you an SJP customer who would like to share your experience in confidence with the FT — whether positive or negative? Are you an SJP adviser who would like to tell us anonymously about your experience working for the group?

We want to hear your views. Please get in touch with us at money@ft.com.
