Investing.com – Taiwan equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Golden Bridge Electech Inc (TW:) added 10.00% or 2.20 points to end at 24.20 and Rectron Ltd (TW:) was up 10.00% or 1.75 points to 19.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lead Data Inc (TW:), which lost 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 in late trade. Zero One Technology Co Ltd (TW:) declined 9.05% or 10.00 points to end at 100.50 and Kung Sing Engineering Corp (TW:) shed 6.11% or 0.80 points to 12.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 4.68% or 3.36 to $68.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 4.47% or 3.38 to hit $72.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 3.95 to trade at $2,750.65 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.05% to 32.10, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.09% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 104.39.
