New Delhi: Private telecom operators Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea said they are working to ensure round-the-clock connectivity for their respective subscribers in Bengal and Odisha as cyclone Dana is expected to make landfall in the two states on Thursday (October 24) night.
The players have said contingency measures have been taken by them including interconnect roaming (ICR), 24*7 war room with manpower, etc.
Apart from keeping a backup of network equipment, the Sunil Mittal-led telco said it has provisioned extra fuel in case there is a power outage, so that its network sites can continue to get power.
