According to the Metro, a whopping 6.25million people visited the Outernet in the last year – making it the city’s most-visited tourist spot.

Located just a mere one-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station, the Outernet is a set of buildings with interactive, floor-to-ceiling screens.

The Now Building’s current exhibit is the Butterfly Trail, which guides visitors through Professor Peter Pelgrin’s Botanical Workshop.

Visitors can interact with the immersive experience by using their smartphone to release magical AR butterflies and trigger real-time animations.

Other buildings include Here at the Outernet, which is a state-of-the-art live entertainment venue that can it 2000 revellers.

In addition to featuring cutting-edge audio and video, performers like Annie Mac and Ed Sheeran, and Jodie Harsh have also played at the venue.

Other buildings include the Lower Third, which is another performance space.

Outernet also often holds events, where big brands, like beer company Estrella Galicia and MAC Cosmetics, will give out their products for free.

Since it opened, the immersive experience has received positive reviews on TripAdvisor.

One person wrote: “We enjoyed this free digital art display just next to Tottenham court tube station. It is spellbinding.”

Another person added: “This is a great free immersive art experience that is well worth stopping by and enjoying for 20 minutes.”

Despite all of the positives, some visitors have complained about the venue being busy and overcrowded.

The Outernet is free to enter.

There are plenty of other immersive attractions in the UK too, including Bubble Planet.

Bubble Planet invites people to embark on a “voyage through fantastical, pastel landscapes designed to appeal to all 5 senses”.

The experience in London provides its guests with 11 different fully interactive zones and also has a unique virtual reality experience.

Meanwhile, one rainy day “amazement” attraction has been described as perfect thanks to its secret doors, hidden portals, and adults-only evenings.

Wake the Tiger is the world’s very first “amazement park” where visitors will be transported to the imaginary world of Meridia.

Visitors will be invited to follow the story behind the make-believe world, which is undergoing an environmental crisis.

The walk-through attraction features 27 unique art installations including strobe lighting, hidden portals and doorways, and rooms with moving parts.

This bizarre UK attraction is actually better to visit in bad weather.

And, this ‘magical’ UK adventure park claims to be the strangest place in the world.
