Around six equity mutual fund categories have offered double-digit returns in 2024 so far, according to the data from ACE MF. We considered regular and growth options.

Energy & power funds

These funds have offered an average return of 16.03% in 2024 so far. There were around three schemes in the category. Nippon India Power & Infra Fund gave the highest return of 17.78% in the said period.

PSU theme-based funds gave an average return of 25.56% in 2024 so far. There were around five schemes in the category. CPSE ETF, the topper in the category, gave 30.37% return in the same period.

Infrastructure funds gave an average return of 18.14% in 2024 so far. There were around 18 schemes in the category. Quant Infrastructure Fund gave the highest return of 26.27% in the said period.

Pharma & healthcare funds

These funds gave an average return of 12.04% in 2024 so far. The category had around 13 schemes in the said period. SBI Healthcare Opportunities Fund offered the highest return of 14% in 2024 so far.

The category excludes PSU, MNC and international funds. The other theme based funds gave an average return of 11.12% in 2024 so far. Quant Momentum Fund gave the highest return of 25.93% in 2024 so far.

Value-oriented funds gave an average return of 10.06% in 2024 so far. Quant Value Fund gave the highest return in the said period of around 23.47%.
