Blackburn Rovers are set for a busy end to the January transfer window as Express Sport understands Crystal Palace are in advanced talks for Adam Wharton.
The Eagles have already seen one bid turned down for the 19-year-old midfielder, but as discussions have ramped up between Palace chairman Steve Parish and Blackburn over the past 24 hours, another offer may be submitted soon.
Meanwhile, Rovers continue to fend off interest in Sam Gallagher.
Ipswich Town have lodged multiple bids for the 28-year-old, but Blackburn are categorically unwilling to sell as they don’t have a replacement lined up.
Gallagher’s contract is due to expire in the summer.
