Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd eye trio to form new spine, 'massive' Chelsea deal

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has reportedly cooled interest in Brighton’s Evan Ferguson and is instead eyeing Dominic Solanke of Bournemouth.

Spurs are still desperate to find a long-term replacement for Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich in the summer.

Several names have been mentioned including Ferguson, who is widely considered one of the hottest prospects in Europe.

However, he signed a new deal at Brighton earlier this year and would likely now cost north of £100m.

The Sun claim Spurs view Solanke, who has five more Premier League goals than Ferguson this season, as a ‘better prospect’.

As things stand, only Son Heung-Min, Mo Salah and Erling Haaland have more Premier League goals than him. The same report says Spurs are keeping a very close eye on him ahead of a potential January transfer swoop.
